Chapel of Notre Dame de Pitié/ Mario Prassinos Donation - Tourist Office of Saint-Remy de Provence

This lovely chapel, extended in 1651, houses the works of the painter Mario Prassinos, who lived nearby. He donated 108 works to the state, which are listed in the inventory of the National Contemporary Art Fund (Fonds National d’Art Contemporain). The 11 paintings of the Crucifixion (Le Supplice) were specially created for the chapel. Temporary exhibitions of contemporary art are also held here.
